Notebooks & More That Make My Heart Go Pitter-Patter

Anyone else have a thing for office supplies?

I’ll admit that this is the area that I have the hardest time decluttering, and I might, maybe, probably have more notebooks and folders than any person needs, but I just love fresh, crisp paper, pretty patterns and a notebook waiting to be filled.

So when Invite.l, a Korean company expanding to the U.S., offered me an opportunity to try some of their products, I couldn’t resist! I poured over their online catalog (and I love that there aren’t so many products that your head spins).

And truly, this is when I fell in love:

editorial notebook

It’s a Magazine Editorial journal with boxes in various sizes, shapes and patterns. Honestly, mine is still blank because I feel like this is a journal that calls for greatness, and I’m not yet sure how I want to use it. To plan Life Your Way content? To record memories and sayings from our girls? To plan my day? It makes me happy every time I look at it, though!

1000 kinds of stories

They also sent me this very cool 1000 Kinds of Stories journal. If you’ve read or plan to read Ann Voskamp’s One Thousand Gifts, this is the perfect companion to record your one thousand gifts!

1-4 quartered notebook

Fans of simple notebooks like Moleskines will appreciate the simple grid pattern of the 1/4 Quartered notebook. And with a variety of fabric covers, you can dress any of these notebooks up if you’re looking for something a little fancier, although I really kind of like the simplicity of their standard covers!

washi-tape

I’ve been dying to get some washi tape for crafts & organizing, so I was very excited to see Invite.l’s collection of masking tapes in both solid colors and patterns. I love how they use it in their journals and notebooks in the pictures above, and I also plan to use it for crafts and as colorful labels around our home!

slim bag-in-bag

And finally, they also have a variety of bag-in-bags to hold your iPad and other electronics inside a larger bag. I typically carry either a market bag or a tote bag, which can get kind of messy since neither have a lot of pockets or dividers. I’ve tried purse organizers, but I really love how many pockets this Slim Bag-in-Bag has, including one for my iPad. It’s easy to move between bags, and I no longer have stuff falling out or getting disorganized while we’re out and about!

All of these products are high quality, creative and beautiful, and I have a feeling I’ll be revisiting this site often — both for myself and for gifts for others!

Are you an office supply addict? What gets you the most — pretty paper? a new notebook? labels & tags?

I will admit I am a total addict and my husband knows when the school/office supplies appear in the stores it is time to take away my credit/debit card. I have a box in our guest room filled with journals i’ve purchased over the years but have yet to use (at least 20 are in there), another box of art/craft supplies and oodles of pens, markers, crayons, etc.

So funny — I had to ban myself from buying school supplies this year because I have so many from last year, LOL. What is it about them?!

I feel like I have met my kindred spirits!  There is nothing that I love more than wondering thru the aisles of an office supplies or stationery store and then the promise I feel when I purchase a new “perfect” notebook!  So happy to share the passion!

It’s so fun to talk to people who understand rather than looking at me like I have two heads!

You have no idea how excited I am to see such things!  Well…actually…you do :)
Are you going to be offering them on your site?  LOVE THEM!
This time of year, I have to hold back from buying excess cute storage bags and notebooks.  I have so many notebooks filled with random notes….I like the editorial book…must look into that one!

Oh, I love office supplies!  (Do you remember in You’ve Got Mail, Meg Ryan’s got a thing for office supplies?  So Tom Hanks says, “I’d send you a bouquet of sharpened pencils?” or something like that.  That is SO me this time of year!)

My favorites are pretty paper and nice pens.  I love a beautiful journal but it really brings out the perfectionist in me–not a good thing!  But those ribbons and bags above are just lovely!

I love that movie and my husband quotes that line to me every time I go looking at office supplies!

I’m right there with all of you. I could spend HOURS in Staples or Office Max or perusing the cabinets of my department’s main office. I love my google and icalendars, but my husband knows that on Christmas morning I will be looking for my yearly planner – with the monthly calendar and daily calendar (complete with hourly spots for scheduling conferences and office hours with students and activities with my 2 preschoolers).

My FAVORITE supply, however, is the highlighter with the post-it note flags that you can write on. Talk about multi-tasking; I can mark a page, highlight a line, and mark my own responses/thoughts all with one supply. It’s AMAZING.

    These supplies look enchanting!

Another stationery supply addict here.  In fact I loved this post so much, I’ve ordered some of the journals and agendas featured.  I’m hoping for squeals of delight when my parcel arrives – yes, I’m that sad.

I love journals of all kinds and have the Brief Editorial journal as well as the A Thousand Kinds of Stories journal and love them both. Seeing the 1/4 and the Magazine Editorial journals has given me ideas on how I could put each one to good use.  You can never have too many journals on the go! As for the washi tape, I use it all the time when making cards and have a box of various colours and patterns. Now, seeing the tote bag, I’m longing to get one of those.  This is one Sunday when surfing the net has been worthwhile!
